Litter Box Art

While Mile and I were conceptualizing, she got hold of a shred box and started to doodle around. Here’s the output:
Mile's Shred BoxIsn’t it adorable? Possibly our logo will be based on this spontaneous piece. Sweet.

Spend your thirties making babies!

I know it’s too early for me to discuss this matter because I’m neither married nor in a romantic relationship. In fact, I haven’t been in one since birth. But if you’ll ask me how many children I would like to have, I would say 3, composing of 2 boys and a girl. As for my good friend Paul, he  said that the number of children he wanted to have would make up a basketball team. Poor wife. But Paul explained that not all children will be coming from one woman. He wants to have several wives and have a child from each one of them. Paul is the new Henry VIII.

He also said that he will be doing it in his thirties. The reason? I don’t know. For me, I think it’s best to have kids in your twenties so that the age gap between you and your kids isn’t too big. But then I realized that by your thirties, you must have reached a certain level of maturity where you are capable of handling kids.  So it’s never too late to have them in your thirties after all.

Come Closer

This morning, I was talking to Paul about anything under the sun until the conversation went to the current Close Up commercial. I told him that there’s a striking resemblance between him and the guy from that commercial. And he was like:

paul john rodriguez: d hamak na gusgusin ako pag tinabi mo ako dun

Whatever, Paul. You’re such a loser. :P You can’t accept the fact that there really is a striking resemblance between the two of you. Take a look:

Pawchong

Your hair is just damp, that’s all. :P

Burn your Boredom!

I’m currently unemployed and I’m looking for something to do. I want to go out but it’s raining.

I googled the word “bored” and here’s the first that came out:

When you have nothing better to do , visit Bored.com and Burn your Boredom!

I hope the rain won’t put out the fire. ><

Your song will fill the air
Sing it loud so I can hear you
Make it easy to be near you

Hindi ko inexpect na ganito mangyayari…

Paasa

This was actually written during the summer of last year. Only now Tonio composed a tune for this and I still haven’t heard it yet.

Tonio, thanks for the composition. Please upload it once you’re ready.

I would also like to thank Mile and Paul for the inspiration!

Nakahilatay nanaman
Dito sa aking kama
Nagiisip, nangungulila
Nais ay makasama ka

Kung kailan magkalayo na
Saka lang naramdaman
Ikaw nga ba’y para sakin
O sa iba’y nakalaan

Nagaalinlangan
Kung ika’y may pagtingin
Maghihintay na lamang
Manghula’y kay hirap gawin

Ipipikit na lang
Aking mga mata
At ako’y mananaginip
Na tayong dalawa

Ayokong umasa
Ngunit di ko maiwasan
Ang iyong tawa, ang iyong ngiti
Sa aking isip nakatanim

Wag kang paasa
Ako’y nahihirapan
Hanggang kailan paghihintayin
Sana ako’y intindihin

Kay hirap pigilan
Ng aking nararamdaman
Ngunit ito ang nararapat
Para di na masaktan

Kung kailangan humanap ng iba
Yan ay aking gagawin
Mabura ka lamang
Dito sa aking isip

Ngunit ang makalimutan ka
Ay kay hirap talaga
Ako’y hihilatay na lamang
Sa aking kama nanaman

Ipipikit muli
Aking mga mata
At ako’y mananaginip
Na tayong dalawa

Counting Ducks

Counting Ducks

I’m getting another insomnia attack. They say counting sheep is the remedy but it’s just another old wives’ tale and besides, I see ducks instead of sheep whenever I close my eyes. But it seems that the ducks are making it even harder for me to catch some ZZZs. So, instead of tossing and turning in bed, thinking of ducks, I chose to stay awake and spend another sleepless night writing a blog about the cause of my insomnia — ducks.

Lately, I’ve been missing the ducks I admire — three ducks I call “A”, “B”, and “C”. It would be nice to write something about each duck while I’m awake. It’s very reminiscing.

I’ll begin with Duck A. Duck A is one good-looking duck, I must say. I didn’t really like him at first because I thought he was the typical jock who thinks so highly of himself. I realized I was wrong after I got to know him better. He’s in fact a humble gentleman with a big heart. Now, we get along pretty well and I’m glad to have him as a friend. He’s very special.

Next is Duck B. Duck B is a DREAM. I’m usually shy around him that’s why I never got to talk to him that much. But I’ve heard good things about him. There’s more to him than his good looks — probably the reason I got attracted to him all the more. He’s an inspiration. I believe that he’s a great person people should look up to.  He also reminds me of Duck A. In fact, when I first met him, Duck A came to mind. Their voices even sound the same. What a coincidence!

Last but not least is Duck C. Duck C is a prospect. I got to talk to him a couple of times. He’s nice and charming like the other two but I still need to get to know him more.

Okay, now I’m sleepy. Counting ducks and blogging about them, after all, was the remedy, not counting sheep. Tonight’s entry ends here. It’s time for a pleasant sleep!
